Every dog deserves to be in a loving and caring home - maybe your home is forever home for one of our current dogs?
These dogs reside at Bob’s House under the Kennel to Couch program. Dogs need all of the comforts of home. Removing dogs from area shelters and placing them in a home environment makes them more adoptable. While we foster dogs, we provide meticulous healthcare, high quality food and love and attention from our staff and volunteers. Once dogs are adopted, 100% of all adoption fees goes back to the shelter we fostered the dog for.
Below you will see the gallery of available dogs that are currently at Bob's House for Dogs. Click on the photo below to read more about the dog. Viewing of available dogs is done by appointment only; please call 715-878-4505 or email info@bobshousefordogs.org to set up an appointment!
This pretty lady is Gracie. She is 13 years old and a gentle, quiet sweetheart! I have a low-grade heart murmur. It is nothing serious enough for heart meds at this point. Hooray! The doctor said we just monitor this over time. I am on arthritis pain management that I would need to stay on to be comfortable. I'm not really potty trained, but sometimes I use a potty pad. I would love a quiet home where I was kissed and held by my person and had a spot on the couch to nap.
Requirements:
No kids/Needs a quiet and peaceful home
If you’d like to meet Gracie, please email Nikki @ bobshousenikki@gmail.com to get an application for an appointment! Or you can call our facility at: 715-878-4505

Lovely and sweet, Sarah is a 13 year old lab mix who is quite spry besides having back hips and knees. She still gets around well and we’ve finished her medical workup. She is believed to be in great health and we are starting treatment for Lyme disease. Sarah does have some leaking trouble, so she would need someone understanding, who wouldn’t mind a little butt bath once in a while.
Contact Nikki for an application if you want to meet this gorgeous girl! bobshousenikki@gmail.com
This beautiful female shepherd mix is estimated to be 10-12 years old. She is so quiet and polite to everyone. If you would like to meet Lydia, please message Nikki@ bobshousenikki@gmail.com for an application.
Be still my heart…. this gentle, quiet, and sweet gentleman was surrendered at the age of 14. He is mourning his previous owner who gave him up, but holding his head up higher each day. We are all so in love with this boy! He LOVES slow walks, and dental chewies! We are looking for a quiet retirement home for this honey, without children please.

This sweet female hound is around 10 or 11 years old. She is super sweet, with a kind personality. We finished Dolly’s medical treatments, which consisted of: a full dental, and removal of what was a low grade Mast cell carcinoma tumor. Margins around the cancer looked clean, so we are hopeful for a full recovery!
Please email Nikki with any questions or if you’d like to meet Dolly:

Beautiful Axe is as sweet and sensitive as they come. He is very interested in interacting with people and is submissive, but playful with other dogs.

This beautiful 11 year old lady will suck you in with her amber eyes and genuine smile. She is all heart! Susie came to us 92 1/2 pounds. She is now (cue the drum roll…) in the 70’s!!! Starting her on her thyroid medication for Hypothyroidism has been a big help, and now she is playing the yard with the other dogs! Suzie is a total sweetheart and is hoping to find someone who will look past her size, and instead, see the tremendous progress she has made. She needs someone who will continue her exercise and weight loss journey. She offers lots of kisses as a reward!
Please contact Nikki at: bobshousenikki@gmail.com or at 715-878-4505 for an application to come and meet Suzie!

We are told that this sweet beauty is a retired police dog. After much pampering, we are ready to have people apply to meet Gretta! She is an extremely tolerant, sweet, and quiet 12 year old spayed female.
If you are interested in meeting Gretta, please email Nikki saying you want an application: bobshousenikki@gmail.com
This active male lab is so much fun and a total delight! We aren’t totally sure on his age yet…he is active and LOVES to play fetch with a tennis ball. He is terrific at bringing it back to you and gently giving it to you. He is wonderful with all of the dogs in our facility. We aren’t sure on cats, but that can be tested out.
Clyde is looking for a home with adults who would take him to the beach, play fetch, and go on medium long hikes. He loves a good snuggle on the couch too.
Please email Nikki: bobshousenikki@gmail.com for an application to meet this awesome dude!
